Art Interviews & Conversations brings together direct dialogues with artists, curators, directors, cultural figures, activists, and experts. These interviews begin with individual practices, but they rarely remain inside the studio. They also examine museums, exhibitions, art fairs, politics, identity, ecology, technology, and the systems that decide what becomes visible.

I do not approach an interview as a simple collection of quotations. The questions explore how a work is made, why certain choices matter, and what happens when an artistic idea enters the world. Therefore, each conversation becomes both a document and a critical reading.

Beyond the artist interview

Artists remain central to this archive. However, contemporary art is also shaped by curators, museum professionals, fair directors, researchers, and cultural institutions. Their decisions affect which works are exhibited, collected, funded, discussed, or forgotten.

For this reason, the category includes different voices and positions. Some conversations focus on materials and process. Others address feminism, queer culture, environmental responsibility, war, censorship, the art market, or the politics of visibility.
