Tracey Moffatt

Tracey Moffatt is an Indigenous Australian artist and filmmaker whose staged photography, films and video works explore memory, race, gender, colonial history and cultural identity.

Moving between cinematic fiction and personal recollection, Moffatt creates fragmented narratives shaped by desire, trauma and displacement. Major works such as Something More, Scarred for Life, Night Cries and MY HORIZON have established her as a leading figure in contemporary Australian art.
